a great start to april - highlights included lots of jokes (on me), a quick walk, an afternoon with art friends, and a piece of scrap lumber in the alley (stay tuned - i'll show it sometime in the next few days). the little guy in the bowl really made my day. he reminds me so much of myself when i wake up in the morning - shellshocked and a bit green in the face.
p.s. have you seen yasmine's new parasol magazine? it features a few of my faves, diana from please sir and jess gonacha, and many other talented artists and designers. it's downloadable for free here.

thanks, aimee! i wish i could've seen jokes played on you-- i bet it was fun. :)
Nice photographs. April 1st was uneventful. Today is special, it is my FIL's birthday. Take care.
i can relate to the green guy kind of feeling in the morning.
good to hear you had a fun april 1st.
Must have green guy! And what are those, bangles? They're FAAAAbulous! I just love window shopping with you. :D

a good day. i am becoming a huge fan of lawrence!
I cannot believe a quarter of the year is gone! I certainly have not yet marked off a quarter of the Things I Want to Do in 2009 list! More like two (of the 20). (PS I thought it was a snake - now I read they are bangles? Dang, I must get new reading glasses ...)
Hello April and thanks so much for the link love!!!
i am SO glad anairam mentioned that the bangles looked like one of those unmentionable creatures (i'm terrified of them) so that picture is now GONE!
the one in the second picture on the right, is that you? :)))
i can always count on you for a little color, humor and smiles aimee. :)
oh, hello april! i'm so glad it's finally spring.
Can you believe it's April? Yay spring - but zowie, the year is zooming by. (Why is it that it feels like the year is not fully underway until Spring, and then, zoom it's almost over). I'm trying to slow it down and enjoy everyday :-)
Love the pics of La Boca - muy colorful!
